Handmade with 100% Shetland wool, slightly heavier, stretchier and more densely/tightly knit than the lambswool jumpers, this Shetland wool is thick, strong, waterproof and windproof because of the windy, wet climate this wool is grown in. If you are outside a lot or live in a freezing house, this wool is for you.
I love this wool, you can get caught in a downpour and be totally dry underneath in these jumpers. If you want super soft - go for a lambswool one - but these ones get softer over time and really are the best of the best of British wool so if you are looking for sustainable fashion and clothing that lasts - this really is it.
I hand-brush these ones to achieve the 'halo' effect Shetland jumpers are famous for.
